In the beginning, we look for wool materials preferably that could fit into the design patterns.
Here are some small variants where merino wool has been the basis of the fabric, in different versions such as wicking or curly or coarser yarn.
These images show an attempt to reproduce a print on the loom with merino wool, of different thicknesses and through a traditional raising technique. The gorullo or Coptic knot.
