“No two fires are the same, and each fire has its own colour. There are people with serene fires, which even the wind doesn't notice, and people with wild fires that fill the air with sparks. Some foolish fires don't ignite or burn, but others, others burn their lives with such an intensity that you can't stop watching them, and anyone who gets too close gets burned.

Handmade textile pieces: wool blankets, cushions, and maxi scarves
These unique woollen scarves, like people, symbolise a passion for life, the authenticity of each person who owns one, and the embrace and care of difference.
These maxi scarves, just like the Handmade wool blankets, I am a contemporary artisanal product.
They have been woven on our looms, using a technique developed by us, which is based on an ancient Galician technique called “Gorullo”. This ancient technique made loops with a rod in the fabric as it was woven on the loom.
On my loom, I make these artisanal maxi scarves from a looped wool, and I'm taking out each loop one by one, by hand, with my fingers, placing it to make a piece with a different right and wrong side, making drawings with the wool like little “hearts”.
The weave is made from various soft materials, such as Merino wool with silk or mohair, alpaca… in different colours.
These maxi knit scarves are handmade one by one in our artisan workshops and It takes a week to knit them.
The entire Fueguitos collection is handmade. It employs a technique inspired by an ancient form of weaving in which loops are created by hand as the item is woven. This gives them a particularly warm softness and texture, making them unique pieces.
THE TECHNIQUE
El urdido se realiza en Lana Merino and different ones are incorporated strips of natural materials like wools of different qualities, alpaca, merino... The loops are woven manually inspired by the ancient technique of the «gorullo», very popular in Galicia, although instead of doing it with a rigid rod, they are made gently by hand, to achieve that the texture of these handmade pieces is a caress.
The wool used is made from factory remnants and we have limited quantities for each colour. Wool is no longer manufactured. There are limited units of this collection.
On the other hand, they are light, soft, delicate and very loving, with a pleasant feel and volume. The colours are combined in relation to the different materials in bands of different wools. And also The customer can order the product to their liking., with some variation.
