Some foolish fires, do not ignite or burn, but others, others burn their lives with so much anxiety that you can't stop looking at them without blinking and whoever comes near them ignites."

Handcrafted textile pieces: wool blankets, cushions and maxi scarves
These unique wool scarves, like people, symbolize the passion for life, the authenticity of each of the people who own them, tuck and care for the difference.
These maxi scarves, like the handcrafted wool blankets, are a contemporary handmade product.
They have been woven in our looms, with a technique developed by us, which is based on an ancient Galician technique called "Gorullo". This ancient technique made loops with a rod in the fabric when weaving it on the loom.
I make these handmade maxi scarves on my loom with a looped wool, and I remove each loop one by one, by hand, with my fingers, placing it to make a piece that has a different right and a different back, making drawings with the wool as small "hearts".
The weft is made with different soft materials, such as merino wool with silk or mohair, alpaca... in different colors.
These wool maxi scarves are made one by one in our artisan workshops and take a week to knit.
The entire Fueguitos collection is handmade. It uses a technique inspired by an ancient form of weaving in which the loops are made by hand while weaving. This gives them a particularly soft and warm texture, making them unique pieces.
TECHNIQUE
The warp is made of merino wool and different bands of natural materials such as wool of different qualities, alpaca, merino... The loops are woven manually inspired by the ancient technique of "gorullo", very popular in Galicia, but instead of doing it with a rigid rod, they are done gently by hand, to get that texture of these handmade pieces that are a caress .
The wool with which they are made comes from factory leftovers and we have limited quantities for each color. The wool is no longer manufactured. There are limited units of this collection.
On the other hand, they are light, soft, delicate and very loving, with a pleasant touch and volume. The colors are combined in relation to the different materials in bands of different wools. And also the customer can order the product to his liking, with some variation.
