These blanketsfor babies are hand-woven on our loom with merino wool wrap and milk fibre weave. They combine the tradition of handmade products with this new ecological fibre certified by our suppliers, which is made by processing the milk protein, casein. This natural substance is extracted from milk that is not for human consumption, and mixed with natural waxes to make a soft and hypoallergenic fibre.
It is soft, antibacterial, and temperature regulating, which makes it very suitable for use by people with sensitive skin such as babies. Not recommended for people with lactose intolerance.
Natural colour of the fibres, no dyes or additives. Edge dyed with natural plant dyes.Recommended hand wash or delicate cold wash.
