Handmade Blue Wool Scarf. Avó - Avoa Collection

This handmade wool scarf in blue is inspired by the lifelong weavings made with linen and alpaca wool.  A tribute to our grandparents. That's why we have named it the Avó and Avoa Collection, which means ‘grandfather’ and ‘grandmother’ in Galician.
With blue and greycolours, so typical of our Atlantic landscape.

Maxi scarves for men and women that are a warm caress

The warm memory of our grandparents' caresses is what we wanted to represent in these maxi scarves for men and women that are a warm caress, perfect for walks in the woods or enjoying nature. Their size is 195 x 40 cm and this makes them very versatile; they can be used as a scarf, but also can cover the shoulders, legs if we sit outdoors, or even as a shawl.

Blue, grey, and green tones of the different natural wools (alpaca, wool with silk and linen) that we mix in the designs to weave them later in our looms and get handmade scarves, with simple tones but with current designs, full of life and elegance.  As we would like our villages to be, full of life.

We always work with sustainable production criteria, using as many natural and local materials as possible, respecting their textures and special characteristics. We weave on handlooms that do not consume electrical energy: only the strength of our hands and legs moves them, so they do not generate polluting emissions in the manufacturing process.

As in our collections, we only have one model for each design, being all of them unique pieces of luxurious fabrics.
