Inés As Rir

I am Inés Rodríguez, artisan and soul of this workshop.

This project stems from my love for art in all its forms: crafts, painting, drawing, design or architecture: some disciplines that I practice, and others that I admire.

After having done many things and having worked in different fields such as administration and event decoration, I founded my own workshop for the elaboration of handmade and unique fabrics. From a small rural area in Galicia, in the town of Allariz, I work for the world, making fabrics that other creators will use or designing finished pieces myself with a mixture of techniques that I have learned, spinning new materials or researched in books and museums, to make contemporary handmadefabrics inspired by the past and tradition.

In thisproject I mix all my hobbies and interests: the colourI love, nature, weaving and knitting techniques, embroidery, illustration… I enhance my products with everything I can find, optimising resources and striving for sustainability in every new project, whether it's my own or for others.

& Co. Collaboration, understanding others, projecting their ideas, mixing them with yours is something that really excites me. Each project I takeon not only teachesme something new, but also sparks fresh inspiration and allows my ideas to flow freely.

Through my handmade textiles, I aim to move people, focusing on their design, texture, touch, and natural materials, so that people feel cared for.
