Handmade decorative tapestry from the Morno collection

This decorative handmade tapestry is handmade in our textile workshop. It is hand-woven on our loom using different natural materials: merino wool, Castilian wool, and linen cotton.

It is woven on our handloom horizontally as it was done in the past, using our own techniques based on the traditional weaving techniques of Galicia. We use the ‘Gorullo’ techniqueto handmake the wool loop, one by one.

At the same time,I mix the wool like watercolours, in order to achieve the pictorial effects of water or clouds. In this way I bring back a traditional technique to develop it in the future.

It can also be used as a rug for home decoration.

Those little balls make it look like a sea of clouds, which are also formed by water, and make reference to the freedom and peace that the brand wants to provide its users. It represents the dreamiest side, pleasure and warmth that the brand seeks for its customers.

Each decorative tapestry is unique, as it is not possible to make two identical pieces. They are woven to order and the colours are mixed by hand.
